Alchlor®-AC is a concentrated, very high basicity poly-aluminium chloride solution with superior coagulation properties. It contains three times more active ingredient compared to alum sulphate solution and because it is prehydrolysed to a very high degree it requires significantly less alkali for optimum performance. It is also completely stable, easily pumped and is classified as non-corrosive, making it cheaper to store and transport. Solutions of very high clarity can be supplied. Synonyms: 83% basic aluminium chloride, 5/6 basic aluminium chloride, aluminium chlorohydrate, aluminium hydroxychloride (also aluminium chlorhydrate, aluminum chlorohydrate, aluminum chlorhydrate).
